Due to strong ongoing growth for specialised economic advice, we are seeking economists with one to five years’ experience who have strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a genuine interest in economics. As an intern, you will be exposed to today’s most challenging economic problems and have the opportunity to work alongside some of Asia-Pacific’s leading economists. The breadth of assignments on which you will work will provide invaluable industry experience, insight into work as a consulting economist and the opportunity to demonstrate your potential.
Our primary internship program runs over the summer break in our Sydney office and is for students about to enter or progressing through honours and postgraduate studies in economics. Internships may also be available at other times of the year so please reach out if you are looking for a differently-timed internship.

As a graduate, you will be tackling the most challenging economic problems in the Asia-Pacific region alongside leading economists. Working as a consulting economist will see you use your economics skills to gain invaluable industry experience and kickstart your career.
Our Sydney-based team is seeking postgraduate students (honours and above), with a strong academic record, excellent written and quantitative skills, the right to work in Australia and a passion for using economics to solve real-world problems.
