As an intern, you will get a taste of what it’s like to be a graduate at HoustonKemp. You will gain exposure to how we apply economics on a daily basis to tackle the most challenging economic problems in the Asia-Pacific region. Our breadth of project work offers invaluable industry experience, an insight into the career of a consulting economist and the opportunity to demonstrate your potential.
You will be directly involved in our project work from the get go, working closely with and supported by our project teams. You will be involved in a diverse range of tasks, spanning from qualitative research, modelling, and report writing.

Our Sydney-based team is seeking postgraduate students (honours and above) with a strong academic record, excellent written and quantitative skills, the right to work in Australia and a passion for using economics to solve problems.
As a graduate, you will be tackling the most challenging economic problems in the Asia-Pacific region alongside leading economists.
You will be using your economic skills extensively to gain invaluable industry experience. Throughout the graduate program you will be working with multiple project teams on a diverse range of subject matters. This provides you with cross-industry opportunities to gain an understanding of different markets.
