As an intern at HoustonKemp, you will gain a holistic view of what it’s like to work as a consulting economist. You will apply your economic skills to real-world problems and learn from some of the best economists in the country.

An important goal of our internship program is to help you explore your professional interests. You will gain exposure to a multitude of industries and undertake a diverse range of tasks, including research, modelling, and report drafting. We also offer a series of professional development workshops hosted by our team of economists.

HoustonKemp operates with a flat structure, providing abundant cross-learning opportunities, with engaged senior staff offering guidance and mentorship to our interns throughout the program.

Our Sydney-based internship program runs over the summer and is for students planning to undertake postgraduate study (honours and above) in economics. We also offer internship positions over the winter.
