Aaron returned to HoustonKemp in 2025, having previously completed an internship in 2023. His internship gave him exposure to several key areas of economic consulting, and he was involved in several competition, securities litigation, regulation, and policy projects. The hands-on project experience strengthened Aaron’s interest in combining robust data analysis with economic theory to help solve complex policy problems.
Aaron recently completed a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) at the University of Sydney where his thesis examined the impact of food price shocks on the incidence of social unrest across sub-Saharan Africa. Aaron’s research relied on comprehensive econometric analysis to provide a nuanced understanding of the economic mechanisms underpinning political stability.
He is motivated to utilise his analytical skills to deliver evidence-based insights that contribute to better decision-making and positive social outcomes.
