HoustonKemp’s Partners, Adrian Kemp, Ann Whitfield and Greg Houston, are delighted to welcome Daniel Young to the position of Partner.
Founding Partner, Greg Houston congratulated Daniel on attaining this important career milestone.
‘One of Daniel’s most valuable attributes is his clear analytical mind, applied to the complex problems that clients entrust to us. Daniel’s elevation to Partner recognises the substantial contribution he has already made as a consulting, expert economist.’ Mr Houston said.
Daniel has applied his insights over many years working with law firms and infrastructure service providers across Australia and New Zealand. He has developed particular expertise in the economic questions arising at the intersection of regulatory and competition policy, leveraging his detailed knowledge of competition and cost-benefit analyses, asset valuation and the cost of capital.
Mr Houston observed that ‘Daniel’s promotion underlines the strength of our team and our capacity to provide expert witness and advisory services across all sectors of the economy.’
As the first new Partner from amongst our growing team, Daniel’s promotion is an important milestone for the firm. It represents the successful culmination of recruiting the best and creating an environment where talent can flourish.
‘In establishing HoustonKemp in 2014, we wanted to create an environment that allowed the best economists to solve the toughest problems faced by businesses and governments. Daniel’s promotion is testament to that vision and builds the foundation for the next phase of the firm’s growth’, said Founding Partner Adrian Kemp.
In an economic environment as uncertain and complex as ever, businesses and governments are regularly confronted with decisions that will determine our nation’s future prosperity. HoustonKemp is exceptionally well placed to continue bringing the economic insights necessary to navigate those challenges.
