Adrian and Zoe had the privilege of attending the Harding Miller Education Foundation awards night at the National Maritime Museum on Monday evening this week. It was wonderful to celebrate the new cohort of scholarship recipients and hear from a number of inspirational speakers, including an alumna of the program who shared how the scholarship and enrichment program had helped her overcome financial and personal barriers to get to where she is today – achieving her goal of studying accounting and finance at university.
The Harding Miller Education Foundation is an Australian charity supporting bright young women from disadvantaged backgrounds to achieve their academic potential and build a prosperous and successful career. They do this by providing students with a four-year scholarship, a coach and access to a careers and enrichment program. We are very proud to get behind the foundation as they work towards educational and gender equality. Our team will also be fundraising throughout the year to contribute further to this worthy cause.
Congratulations to all the new scholarship recipients! We can’t wait to welcome some of the girls to our office in July for an enrichment day to learn about careers in economics.
