The Heavy Vehicle Productivity Plan 2020-25 (the Plan) represents the NHVR’s strategy to improve safety and productivity in the heavy vehicle sector. The Plan contains three objectives and ten goals that the NHVR intends to achieve by 2025 in order to support Australia’s rapidly growing road freight industry.
HoustonKemp assisted the NHVR by undertaking an economic review of the Plan. The purpose of the review was to identify and quantify the benefits that would arise from the Plan. The report was prepared by Martin Chow and Dylan Frangos.
The final Plan is available at the following website (www.nhvr.gov.au/hvpp). Our report is available at here.
